The Guild of IB Schools of the Northeast is a nonprofit corporation registered in New York State. The Guild was founded in January 1997. Originally membership comprised 6 schools and now has grown to over 60. Membership Information: Any currently IBauthorized IB school can apply to join GIBS. At present, membership is open to schools in NY, NJ, MA, CT, ME, RI and eastern PA. The annual membership fee is currently $300. This fee entitles a member school to have up to two teachers attend any PYP, MYP or DP event free of charge. Participants in excess of two pay $25 per person.
