On behalf of the International Schools’ Association and Cempaka Schools, we regret to inform you that the 7th International Youth Leadership Seminar: Eradicating Poverty June 29 July 4, 2009 has been postponed indefinitely due to the increasing number of cases in Malaysia of the H1N1 Virus. In order to circumvent the spread of the virus, the government of Malaysia is considering shutting down all schools in the near future. In light of the health risks in allowing students to travel from abroad as well as any potential interruption to the seminar’s scheduled activities, the ISA and Cempaka Schools have decided that to postpone the seminar would be the most appropriate course of action.
