Schutz American School is a coeducational day school enrolling students in from PreK3 through 12th grade. The school is located in Alexandria, Egypt on the shores of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Accreditation: Schutz is accredited by, the New England Association of Schools NEASC and colleges, as well as, the Council of International Schools CIS. Organization: The School is governed by a 13member selfperpetuating Board of Trustees, serving renewable 3year terms. Faculty: In the 20082009 school year, there are 39 fulltime and 5 parttime faculty members, including 26 U.S. citizens, 11 hostcountry nationals, and 7 thirdcountry nationals. The administrative team is comprised of a Head of School, Lower School Principal, Upper School Principal, and Dean of Students.
