This Zaman International School ZIS StudentParent handbook has been written to introduce our school, in order to answer many of the questions you may have, and to help you make the most of your years here. Zaman International School is one of Cambodias premier independent international schools, enrolling over 800 students. ZIS is controlled by The School Board. The school is a nonprofit organization whose budget is prepared, overseen, and audited yearly by the School Board. The administration and teaching staff represent over 9 different countries. The average teaching experience of ZIS teachers is over 10 years. Our primary focus is on internationalism in order to create openminded world citizens who have international perspective, are selfconfident and conscientious, and who can function as leaders and team members in societies all over the world. ZIS is certified by the Cambodian Ministry of Education and it is a member of CIS Council of International Schools. ZIS graduates have been accepted at many prestigious universities around the world, such as Australia, Japan, New Zealand, USA, Turkey and more.
